New Nordic Animal Captain offers an enjoyable learning experience about animals!
Nordic, 2015.03.13 – Animal Captain is a stylish game for children aged 4-6 years of age. The game focuses on the interaction between animals through light puzzle solving. If you can keep a cat and a dog apart while finding the correct space for a snake or a lion – then you can be the new Animal Captain.
You’re the Animal Captain, a seasoned sailor and the proud owner of a small ferry which transports animals of all kinds across the sea. The ferry only has limited space and the animals are therefore forced to share their cabin with other animals. Some animal species make great travel partners while others make horrible matches. For example, an elephant and a parrot make a great duo while a snake and a mouse are terrible roommates. It’s up to you to make sure all animals are happy before departure by swapping them between the rooms.
The minimalistic graphics and simple gameplay create a stylish and fun game experience which focuses on entertainment while it also aims to teach children about the relationship between the different animals.

The Copenhagen based developer team Thomas Ryder and Camilla Pedersen founded Italic in 2015. The duo is passionate veterans within the Nordic game industry, and the motivation behind Italic is to create games of high quality and artistic value.
