Molly Medusa now up on the Nintendo eShop

Göteborg, Sweden – April 6, 2023 – Burning Planet Digital and Niklas Hallin are excited to announce that Molly Medusa: Queen of Spit,  a gravity-bending 3D adventure where everyone turns to stone, is now available on the Nintendo eShop. The game can be added to your Wishlist as of today! To celebrate this Burning Planet Digital is running a competition on its Instagram for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch!

The protagonist Molly is a sculptor’s apprentice cursed into a snake-haired Medusa – and so, every living thing she goes near instantly turns into a stone statue. Every living thing! Enemies and friends, bosses and shopkeepers, monsters and allies, even animals and small insects, they all turn to stone. Molly’s quest takes her through a series of mystical temples, as she struggles with loneliness and alienation. Petrified enemies accompany gravity puzzles and non-euclidean architecture.

Farsiders – action game inspired by classic legends launches its Kickstarter

Bangkok, Thailand, March 29th 2023 – GambitGhost Studio Co., Ltd. is thrilled to showcase FARSIDERS, a story-driven, action hack-and-slash game based on real world Arthurian legends. The game is set in a stylized futuristic cyberpunk world abundant with technology and magic, where time travel is one of the core elements of the storyline. GambitGhost Studio is now also super excited to be launching their new campaign on Kickstarter, which goes live on April 5th.

Following the huge success at the 2022 Thailand Game Show, FARSIDERS is committed to involving their newly built community in perfecting the game – the Alpha test has been completed in February 2023. With extremely valuable feedback from the community during the Alpha Test, the studio is determined to go the extra mile in developing more features, and making the user experience even more immersive and enjoyable. The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is to generate extra funds for these extra features, to enhance certain gameplay mechanics like animations and combat.

Backers will be entitled to a range of exclusive and limited rewards, based on a tiered approach. These rewards comprise special skins and early access, limited collectable FARSIDERS cards, a FARSIDERS eco-blanket, or even their own non-playable characters (NPC) within the game.

Japanese indie game publisher PLAYISM is excited to reveal that Rusted Moss is soon to be released on Steam.

 

Osaka, Japan – March 14, 2023 – Today, Japan’s oldest Indie publisher PLAYISM is excited to announce that Rusted Moss will soon release on Steam. Rusted Moss is an action-packed Metroidvania inspired by folktales and desolate landscapes.

Fern is a changeling set out on a mysterious mission while Fae invades the human realm. Players will use an intuitive grappling hook to fly across a hostile land while gunning down mechanical monstrosities. 

Journey across desolate landscapes drenched in melancholy; witness the remnants of humanity and their rusting iron inventions… Humanity is on the brink of collapse and will soon be invaded by faeries. In a desperate bid to survive, humans have empowered their own witches with stolen fae magic. But all is not lost, as the humans were deceived – for one of their own is not what she seems. The fae has stolen a human baby, and replaced it with something else… Raised by unsuspecting human parents, Fern is a changeling whose true loyalties have emerged. Alongside a mysterious shadow named Puck, she sets off on a journey to return fae to the world and end the Age of Men. Whose side will you choose – human or fae?

Fractured Sanity, a thrilling Horror VR Adventure, is out on Steam and Oculus App Lab this month

An intense and fully interactive VR experience will be released on March 28th

São Paulo, Brazil – March 7, 2023 – Brazilian studio, United Games, reveals the release date for their immersive VR game – Fractured Sanity. Designed to be a short but terrifying experience, the survival horror game will launch on Steam and Oculus App Lab this March 28th. 

“When we started this project, we knew it couldn’t be just another jumpscare-infested walking simulator – it had to have mechanics, immersion, atmosphere. That’s how it was with classic horror games we grew up with, so why not bring that to VR?” – Gabriel Marques – the co-creator of Fractured Sanity

Fractured Sanity is a thrilling story surrounding Triton Health Asylum led by a distinguished psychologist, Dr. Matthew Simmons, who has been conducting experiments on how to break someone’s id, ego and superego apart. As a protagonist you wake up in a cell of the psychiatric clinic with no memory of how you got there in the first place. You embark on an intense and heart-wrenching experience to discover what really happened to you and the staff that has been missing. In the game you will have to solve puzzles and fight for your life with ghouls that are chasing you and trying to kill you. The whole VR experience is based on realistic and interactive puzzles and mechanics which fully immerse you in the sinister story with a twist ending.

Gameplay

Explore
Locked up in this facility, you need to find your way out by collecting items, solving puzzles and interacting with everything in a physics-based VR simulation. Keeping a sharp eye for details is very important as the answer might be closer than you think.

Interact
Many secrets are hidden in this facility – you need to find out what’s going on… and how to escape. Realistic interactions make every action immersive. Opening doors, using your flashlight, levers, and more. Every item you find might be useful; read carefully and interact with the environment to solve puzzles.

Survive
Ghouls will be chasing you and trying to kill you. You can survive by shooting them down. From reloading to shooting, the gun interactions are realistic. Mind your ammo – this is not an arcade shooter and ammunition is rare.

Started in 2016 as a side project from Gabriel Marques, United Games was a studio focused on making small mobile games, Advergames for other companies and educational videos. Everdream Valley has very few people disturbing the peace so animals thrive here. Pigs, cows, chickens, ducks, goats, alpacas… the list goes on. Each creature (wild and domesticated) comes with some unique influence on your farm. Everdream Valley is all about caring for animals, so rest assured you’ll never be turning favourite cow Bessie into a burger patty.
The Best of Fluffy Sidekicks
At your side will always be your trusty doggie companion. Choose from 13 different breeds and train your best bud to help with things like herding, tracking, finding treasure and more. There’s a cat too. Win him over and maybe he’ll do something for you in return too. Maybe.
The Magic Comes Out at Night
At night the magic of the valley comes out and your dreams let you become one of many animals on the farm through unique mini games. Each has its own special reward or impact on your farm the next day.
A Relaxed Sandbox of  Adventures
Your summer days in the valley aren’t just about looking after the farm. There’s so much more to do! Spend the nights camping, build a treehouse, catch and collect bugs, go fishing, get new clothes, cook, take photos, build furniture, go treasure hunting. Welcome to the fantastical world of Pax Dei. Inspired by the mythologies of the medieval era, Pax Dei aims to deliver an MMO experience that returns to the roots of the genre with a player-driven and community-focused design, updated and brought into the modern age in stunning visuals created using the Unreal Engine 5.

Pax Dei invites players of all types to define their own goals and challenges. Designed to maximize player interactions and allow different play styles to complement each other, Pax Dei opens up a vast, mysterious, and beautiful playground that players can fill with their own stories.
Cooperative village building
In the relative safety of the Heartlands, players will find the perfect plot to raise their home. Here, life is peaceful, and clans can develop and prosper. Players must work together to grow their villages, engaging with extensive character customization and modular house-building systems. Everything in Pax Dei is produced by human labor and skill, and every player has a role to play and a contribution to make.
Challenging PVE adventure & PVP combat
Leaving the safety of home to explore the Wilderness, players will encounter legendary creatures, ancient mysteries, and increasingly difficult challenges. Here, they can also choose to fight other players to assert dominance for their clan. The glory, bounty, and secrets they bring back more than justify the risks. But as players soon discover, the further they journey from home, the stranger and more dangerous things become.
Everyone matters
Skinning a basilisk, choosing between war and peace, picking flowers: it all matters. In a fully player-driven world, all play styles connect and complement each other. Pax Dei welcomes players of every type to join the community and be part of the stories about to take shape.
Bringing a persistent world alive with Unreal Engine 5
Mainframe has fully leveraged ground-breaking advances in Unreal Engine 5, which has enabled the world to come alive in an expansive simulation teeming with life and stunning detail. The next generation Lumen and Nanite systems allow players to see vistas spanning miles with real explorable distant mountains, while being able to examine the tiniest details of objects in the world. Mainframe has augmented the engine with MMO-specific capabilities, enabling a persistent, seamless world that players can explore at a scale supporting thousands of other players.

Pax Dei will be coming soon to Steam for PC gamers and is in development for cloud gaming platforms to become playable on any screen.

Molly Medusa release date announced in new revealing trailer

Göteborg, Sweden – February 22, 2023 – Upcoming indie game Molly Medusa has a brand new trailer, and a release date of 20th April. Burning Planet Digital announced that Neckolt developed gravity-game Molly Medusa will launch on Nintendo Switch on April 20.

Niklas Hallin, the game’s creator, has this to say:

“We glean a galatëan dream, a sculptor’s great ambition, its stone face so unfazed, with tender tendons trapped in time, and garbled marble muscles still as stone. Stone, stone, stone! Poor Molly, all your friends are stone!” 

Solitude and sandy dunes – set sail, you seeker of retribution! Travel through the minotaur’s labyrinthine lair – Bull of Justice; and down the blood-red, undead pomegranate-succulence of the Underworld rivers. Through the owl-haunted halls of Minerva, and past an opulent palace of long fingers and ill-gotten gold. Up is down and down is up. Reality is far behind, on this journey of the mind. Shatter yourself and transcend!

For it is that cruel, cruel curse, that monstrous malady, which coils around your lonely soul, a malefaction of Many-faced Circe, Ulysses’ bane, that makes you a stranger, an untouchable, a queen of spit, toxic to the touch, ill-fitting and spit-dripping in profane profundity,  s-s-s-serpentine yet still divine – that cruel, cruel curse, which the gods call: MEDUSA.
