2018 EU Spring Finals are heading to Copenhagen April 7-8, Royal Arena

Copenhagen 14th of March – The Nordic countries have produced some of the greatest players in both the EU LCS (European League of Legends Championship Series), and around the world, and for the first time ever, the European League of Legends Finals will be heading to Copenhagen. With more than 100.000.000 monthly players on a global scale, League of Legends is one of the most popular games globally. On the weekend April 7-8, the top four teams will battle it out for European dominance, championship points, and a place at the 2018 Mid Season Invitational. After one of the most exciting seasons in EU LCS history so far, the 2018 EU Spring Finals are not to be missed.  

Event Details

The European League of Legends Championship Series (EU LCS) Spring Split Final features the top 4 teams in Europe competing in the last round of playoffs. The 2018 season is divided into two halves, the Spring and Summer splits each comprising of 9 weeks of regular season and 3 weeks of playoffs. The 3rd place decider takes place on Saturday 7th of April and Finals on Sunday 8th of April in Royal Arena, Copenhagen

What’s on the line?

The winning team will be crowned the Spring Split champions, winning prize money and championship points. As the best team in Europe, they also qualify to take part at the first international League of Legends event of the year, the Mid Season Invitational, which will be held in Berlin and Paris this year.

The 3rd place team will secure a place at the 2018 Rift Rivals tournament being held this summer, which is a battle for dominance between the top 3 teams in Europe vs North America’s top 3.
